As part of enhancing school life in St Augustine’s Catholic Primary, our Year 5 pupils attend Stubbers Adventure Centre in Upminster. Whilst at the centre, pupils have the opportunity to further develop their organisational, communicational and teamwork skills and at the same, improving their resilience.
During the visits to Stubbers Adventure Centre, children engage in a range of activities such as abseiling, team challenge, laser tag and kayaking. It is always an overwhelming success; children consistently have an awesome time. All pupils take part in at least three activities on the day, it is always a guaranteed fun-packed day.
If a pupil qualifies for Pupil Premium, then the school covers 30% of the cost.
